When your brow or lip pigment no longer looks the way you want, start with an assessment. Valeriia offers saline and acid-based PMU removal at Woman Lab, selecting the method according to your existing pigment and skin condition.
An unwanted colour or an old outline can make it difficult to plan new permanent makeup. Removal may help reduce existing pigment, but the approach depends on what is already in the skin and how it has healed.
Assess the Existing Colour
The pigment’s colour, type, and density help determine which removal method may be appropriate for your treatment.
Consider the Skin
Your skin condition and healing history are considered before deciding whether to proceed with a removal session.
Plan Around Your Goal
Discuss whether you want to reduce unwanted pigment or explore your options before having new permanent makeup.
Bring your questions and any details you have about previous treatments. The consultation is a chance to understand your starting point before committing to a session.

Brow & Lip PMU Removal
Eyebrow PMU Removal
Removal can be considered for unwanted brow pigment, including an old colour or shape. This option may suit you if your healed eyebrow tattoo no longer matches the result you want.
Removal is available for unwanted pigment from previous lip permanent makeup. This option may suit you if you are unhappy with the healed colour or outline and want to discuss reducing it.
Valeriia works with both saline and acid-based removers. The choice depends on the pigment’s type, colour, density, and depth, together with the condition of your skin.
Eyeliner and eyelid removal are not offered. Fresh permanent makeup is not treated; the skin must be fully healed before removal is considered.
Valeriia assesses each case individually. Under her treatment policy, removal is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or on skin that has not fully healed after permanent makeup.
Treatment may also need to be declined or postponed if you have:
Broken or inflamed skin, active dermatitis, eczema, or another active skin condition in the treatment area.
An active cold sore, particularly when considering lip PMU removal.
An acute infection, fever, or are feeling unwell.
A tendency to develop keloid scars.
A flare-up of a serious chronic condition or a condition that may impair healing.
If you have a blood-clotting disorder or take medication that affects clotting, consult your doctor before treatment. Do not stop prescribed medication on your own.
Please discuss your health history and medication during the consultation so suitability can be assessed before a session is booked.

Read what clients share about their experience with Valeriia.
I had an amazing experience with Valeria at Woman Lab! She does an excellent job with eyelash extensions—they look beautiful and last 3+ weeks, which is incredible. Valeria is very nice, professional, and truly knowledgeable about what she does. She takes the time to make sure everything is perfect and customized.
I was very impressed at every step of my experience getting permanent upper lid liner. Valeria is very meticulous and professional. Her shop is clean and relaxing. I will be happy to give her my business for future esthetician services.
Valeria is EXCELLENT!! I’ve been looking for a new lash person since mine left for Scottsdale AZ … so 2 years. Valeria is a highly trained professional artist. Most importantly ( and I think this mandatory for lashes that last 4+ weeks) she prepares / cleans the lashes first!..
My Clients ask
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does permanent makeup removal cost?
A single removal session at Woman Lab costs $150. The price is the same for eyebrow and lip PMU removal. Your total cost depends on how many sessions are needed; the removal consultation is free.
Do you use saline removal or laser?
Valeriia uses saline and acid-based removers rather than laser for this service. She selects the method after assessing your pigment and skin, considering the colour, type, density, and depth of the existing permanent makeup.
Can I have my eyebrow or lip tattoo removed?
Both eyebrow and lip permanent makeup can be assessed for removal. Treatment depends on your skin condition, existing pigment, and health history. Eyeliner and eyelid removal are not offered.
How long does an appointment take?
Allow approximately 45–60 minutes for a removal appointment, including preparation. The consultation can help clarify what to expect for your treatment area.
Does PMU removal hurt?
Sensitivity varies between clients and treatment areas. Local anaesthesia may be used when needed. Discuss any concerns about discomfort or previous reactions to anaesthetics with Valeriia before treatment.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no fixed number that applies to everyone. The pigment’s depth and density, together with your skin’s response, affect how many sessions may be needed. One session should not be assumed to provide complete removal.
Can you remove freshly applied permanent makeup?
No. Valeriia does not offer fresh or emergency PMU removal. The skin must fully heal before she assesses the area for treatment.
